Meet Aimee
I’ve worked within the NHS since 2009 and have spent most of my career at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, supporting women and families through pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period.
I love being a midwife, and for the past nine years I’ve led one of the UK’s most successful caseloading midwifery teams — something I’m incredibly proud of.
My passion for infant feeding grew even more after having my own wee boy. Although I support women with feeding every day, our own breastfeeding journey was difficult at first, with challenges around latch, positioning, weight loss, output and jaundice.
With the right support, everything changed. My wee boy began to thrive, and nearly a year later, he is still breastfeeding. That experience inspired me to develop my skills further and qualify as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant.
Whether you book a one-to-one consultation or come along to a breastfeeding drop-in, I’m here to offer calm, practical and compassionate support for you and your baby, whatever your feeding journey looks like.
How I can help
Whatever you're navigating, you don't have to figure it out alone. Common reasons families book with me:
Sore or damaged nipples, clicking, slipping off the breast, or feeds that just don't feel right.
Worries about how much your baby's getting, slow let-down, or wanting to build up a freezer stash.
Reassurance, weighing, and a clear plan when growth is concerning you or your health visitor.
An evidence-based oral assessment, and a referral to a specialist if release looks indicated.
Choosing a pump, building flange fit, exclusive pumping, or expressing for a separated baby.
Paced bottle feeding, switching between breast and bottle, or supporting a baby who refuses the bottle.
Building a stash, planning feeds around your shifts, and keeping breastfeeding going if you want to.
Mixed feeding, top-ups, and protecting supply when you need flexibility — without an all-or-nothing approach.

Kind words
I was incredibly fortunate to have Aimee’s support before, during and after the birth of two of my three children. I had difficulties establishing feeding when I had my first baby due to a total lack of knowledge on my part and my son having tongue tie so was very trepidatious about starting over again after my second birth. In the hours, days and weeks after my daughter’s birth Aimee was so supportive and encouraging to make sure we had the right positions, the latch was good and that I wasn’t in any pain meaning a seamless start to breastfeeding which was such a welcome change after my first experience.
The birth of my third child was surrounding a lot of personal difficulties and Aimee not only supported with feeding, like she had already done so wonderfully before, she truly looked out for me. Having known me for a while she could tell my mental health was suffering, all whilst trying to care for a newborn (and two older siblings) and made sure I was getting the help and support I needed in order to be able to be the best Mum I could. Aimee was an absolute godsend and I couldn’t have got through that time without her.
I managed to feed each of my three children for over a year, and without a doubt, that was thanks to the initial support I had.
Aimee is so kind and genuinely caring, the first few weeks of motherhood, even when it’s not your first, are an emotional rollercoaster and to have a cheerleader by your side, checking in along the way, makes a world of difference and I consider myself incredibly lucky to have had Aimee be that person for me.
When you meet Aimee you just feel safe — the way she works, her manner and temperament is so uniquely competent, calm and intelligent.
As a first time mum with a three day old baby, feeling more than a little bit out of place in my new role, Aimee came in and provided me with exactly what I needed. She assessed both me and my daughter, took her time to see how she was latching, how she was feeding — without judgement or pressure. Even though things were going “well” it is a daunting task to be solely responsible for providing your babies survival with your own body — especially given the nuances in the female anatomy. She provides a service that cannot be replaced by any amount of googling or online support. And I really didn’t know just how much I needed someone with her expertise to assess, feedback, encourage and cheer on!
It has been one of my greatest achievements to be able to breastfeed both my daughter and then subsequently my son through the first year of their lives — but it has not always been smooth sailing. With Aimee’s guidance over the last three years we have troubleshooted through the tougher seasons (distractible eaters, feeding through teething, supply changes etc.) She is a wealth of knowledge and an incredible human — thank you Aimee for your support, I will forever be grateful.
Aimee was our midwife during two of my pregnancies and births. From the very beginning, she brought a sense of calm, warmth and confidence that made me feel completely safe and supported. The support she gave me with breastfeeding was invaluable — especially with our daughter, Matilda, who was diagnosed with a posterior tongue tie. Aimee always seemed to know exactly what advice was needed, and delivered it with such kindness that I never felt overwhelmed or judged.
Aimee is one of those people who leaves a lasting impression on your life. We will always be grateful for the care, expertise and friendship she gave our family — I cannot recommend her highly enough to any parent looking for compassionate, knowledgeable and truly exceptional support.
Highly recommend Aimee. She helped me with my baby's latch and gave me the support and advice I needed to increase my milk supply so that I could exclusively breastfeed. She was so reassuring, knowledgeable and supportive throughout.
